Are there any (UK) TV guide programs available for Pxxx?

I have used Digiguide for Windows before, and their level of information is great. I noticed that it's possible to use myDigiguide with Avantgo, which is now available (beta) for Pxxx. So I'm going to give that a try this weekend. I will post my findings here.

If anyone knows of any alternatives. Please let me know.

Obviously, a solution with data that can be downloaded through my PC's internet connection would be preferable to visiting a web site via GPRS every time I want to check listings.

Cheers

Thanks. But these still involve having to connect (whether it's wap or web) via GPRS (which I get charged for) or GSM (which is slow!) every time I want to check listings.

That's why I want to download the data, say, weekly, while connected to my computer at home and it's unlimited internet connection. Then I can check the listings any time at no extra charge.

I think there is a subscription charge for full access to the myDigiguide data, but it's about £8 a year - much less than the total of one-off connections would cost.

could you not use the net connection while your phone is connected to your PC to browse the site and then save the webpage on you P900?

Only if there's a web page that lists all the programs on all the channels I want for the whole 7 days. It would be a bit cumbersome to scroll through.

on my pc I use DigiGuide and they have a few handheld options listed here including avantgo

so, if you are using avantgo on your Pxxx you can download a number of days each time you synch

Yeah, that's what I'm going to try to set up over the weekend. I wonder what the interface is like.

Doesn't look like there are any other alternatives with this functionality.

Possible gap in the market there if any programmers want to give it a go........
