I'm just looking for the software that will put the birthdays in p910 the way that it is most fully integrated with contacts and respectively it could be synchronized with Outlook.

So the main point is that I was able to transfer birthday together with contacts from p910 to Outlook forth and back without doing extra things.. did anybody tested wether it is possible with any software?

I hope I've explained the problem a proper way )
Thanks in advance for answer!

Two of the most known apps for this are DateMate and Handy Dates.
I've tried both, and didn't like any. DateMate seems more flexible (supports many kinds of events, including non repeatable events), but the interface is not very friendly. The other app it's almost the same.
I read somewhere about outlook integration, but I'm not sure where.
Maybe you should checkup the sites of these applications.

I posted the same topic days ago and no reply anyway, I tried both Handy Dates and DateMate. At least under HD, the alarm will sound off since its settings are in Calendar. On DM, the apps should be running or else the alarm won't play.

Just last night I read in VITO Quickcontact website that it has Birthday, I installed and yes indeed it has, but I just don't know where to put the data.

SmartBirthday is in my opinion the best one, haveŽnt tried DateMate but have them all of the others. The good thing with SmartBirthday is that you can export to a csv file and import if somethings going bad. At least try it out for free in 15 days: http://my-symbian.com/uiq/app[....]ications.php?fldAuto=710&faq=2

SmartBirthday does seems great! ... for birthdays.
DateMate on the other hand has places for other events.
Religious events, S.Valentine's day, etc.
And yes, DateMate *does* add the event to calendar *if* before you adding the event previously set the option in Preferences.
DateMate auto-starts when you power on the phone.

Yes SmartDates have " for other events" also but SmartBirthday is very good just because of the export/import function.

You are right!

That's one of the reasons I keep complainig that developers never finish their programs. 95% of the time they never implement import/export functionality.
