for some reason out of the blue yesterday my phone started to change profiles I didn't touch any thing and then today its starded again I checked all that magic word stuff and there isn't any thing on it so why is it doing it?

help needed thanks

it's a t68mi if it is faulty will they give me a new t68 or a t68i because I want a t68i

A longshot, but maybe you have your profiles linked to your shortcuts, it could be that you are changing them like that without realising it.

But you did say you haven't touched the phone so I doubt it.
Was it in your pocket, or somewhere where the joystick could be pressed/moved?

I have the same problem. One day when I switched my phone on it said it was in the hands free set (switching to profile H-Free) while it was not. The problem with it is that the speaker is then turned off meaning when you receive a call you can't hear anything unless you plug the phone into a hands-free set. It seems to be a reoccuring problem with the t68i and I found more than one message board with people stating the same problem. I haven't found a solution yet but I sent an email to the ericcson customer support to get an answer...

Ow yeah and manually switching to another profile does not help either, the phone's speaker stays off

The same problem seems to occur with the T61 : look here
