Earlier today the phone asked me to delete some messages as the memory was nearly full and it brought up a menu detailing how many mesages i had in each folder. Is there another way to get to this menu?
Apart from this how can i view how many messages in each folder bar actually counting them myself. There seems to be no number like on the nokias.
Also when i send a txt i get like a service txt from 02 telling me my balance but this causes my fone to play the message tone (o2 pay as you go users will know what im talking about), is there anyway to stop the message tone going off cos its bloody annoying!
R2A041 is my firmware.

I was all set to upgrade my firmware but i read somewhere on this forum that some upgraded firmware doesn't allow you ot turn off the camera sound. Can anybody confirm/deny this?
Quick replies, i like it!

@lazybill - Me not so SURE 'bout that cam sound still ON when upgraded . . . but as many upgraders here were HAPPY and quite satisfied too when they upgraded their K7's . . . If so with the noise-cam-sound issue, I guess there is MORE to be fixed when upgraded than thinking of that 'cam-noise-sound' dilemma . . . I guess? Who knows that can just be fixed as well . . . go for the latest firmware - R2AA . . . . !

well regarding the first part of your query....
go to file manager >> more >> memory status....
in there you will find messages.... it now shows the total messages... select it and you willf ind the menu detailing the messages in each folder....
