First photo of the new "5G"....for 5 grams in weight. The World's Smallest Headset is also the World's most advanced. Boasting a JawBone Microphone system taken from the companies "Invisio" professional headset series, used by Special Forces, FBI and Law Enforcement for discreet and reliable communication in high noise enviroments...the "5G" is truely for the "Bleeding Edge"!!

I should have a unit in the coming 2 weeks...Beta Testers at Howards will get the first 100 units to be produced for the end of November/December. Retail will be $299 U.S.

Due to its size it will have to use a cradle. The AX's USB charging port would have prevented it from being so small...

The AX is 10.7 grams and it's light, 5 grams means you don't even feel it on your ear at all.

Correction on Spec..the "5G" is NOT A JAWBONE MIC...but uses the same microphone components from Nextlink's "Invisio" headsets..

More "5G" exclusive photos...curtosey of Jan and Nextlink....the back of the unit... with comments by Jan....
Jan's commentary on the back of the "5G"...
Quote:ATTACHING one pic showing it from the back,… where you can see battery compartment,…
it flips open to reveal a battery that fills the “tube” going between headset and soft spring part.
(battery is taken out to charge, so no mini-usb on this one, but another great looking
solution is supplied in the package, hehe).
We tested 5G yesterday on my K700i,..it easily pulled 20-25metres range,…
its quite impressive, and sound is very good with this little babyspoon.
