So my situation:
Someone calls me with number not in my phonebook. Later I want to add this number from the calls list to the existing contact on my phone book. I've not found that feature:( How can I do this? One way I've found was to copy number and paste it to contact but it is not a way it should be:( At least I think so... So anyone?

I quite agree that is a ridiculous process.

Don't you view the number. Go to 'Copy number', view the contact tthen edit it. paste the number. exit
?
Not much else you can do to make it quiker is there other than an option to add to existing contact then it would only remove one action... hardly a problem?

You could also try PHONE edit->Preferences->Add to contacts
This will automatically add any new number to your contacts list when they phone

Well I find is. Basically when you look at your call lists, you should be able to highlight a call you've made or recieved, view the options available and select "add to contacts". The further option of "make new" or "add to existing" should then be available. If you select "add to existing" the phonebook should then open, you select the entry you want and it should then simply put the number into a field automatically and save upon exit.
The automatic "add to contact" service again doesnt give the option to add to existing so when you select "yes" on this facility it makes a whole new entry, you then cut the number, exit, open phone book, find entry, select entry, highlight field, open on screen keypad, paste number and save. Its laborious and unecessary.

Yup, another stoooopid P series balls-up!
There must be something in the GUI that's preventing them implementing silly things like this and delivery reports, to name another piece of P series ridiculousness!
Maybe it'll be corrected in UIQ 3.0 - here's hoping

I don't see a massive difference to now other than you want it to auto add the number tot he selected contact which then people would complain that they wish to choose which position the number goes in etc.
I think you're being a bit picky to be honest.

Quite wrong. The fields in the phonebooks are interchangeable by selecting whether its "phone (M)" "phone (H)" etc... so if it just automatically put the number in a field you could very quickly indicate which sort of number it was.

Sorry but I don't think so. Most of mobile phones have this option and this is very normal that we want this option in P910 but not the option to search long ways around:( I think that it is normal to go lets say from UK to German directly and not through Japan.
