Of course you can try to use the powersave mode when selecting the light setting, that might work. Otherwise, try and get a firmware update.

yup I also have R2A but it the light goes off after a few minutes. I set my Light to Automatic.

R2AA is not the latest as it was withdrawn by Sony Ericsson due to problems. The latest unbranded firmware is still R2L
