Hi all, What is the best program to password protect the FOLDERS of my picture files. Not individual pictures themselves, but the actual folders. I got like i dunno, PowerProtect or something and it blows. ANy advice?

edit: dont think it encrypts folders, tho... sorry!

regarding folders: I found a tool called HideMedia UIQ that comes close to it., you can use a button 'all' for hiding a folder entirely. plus it's fast

There was no trial to try out but it was not mentioned that it could hide folders.

No,there's no trial unfortunately. Yes it's not mentioned because it's not exactly correct! what you do is: you browse through your folders and you see its files below. then you click 'all', then 'hide'. Every file in that folder now is not shown anymore. but the folder itself stays visible e.g. in pictures application. only the files disappeared. But that's enough for me

I am using HandyExplorer to hide files and thats pretty ok but if using the excellent free BlueEyes they are all showing up there though. As said, PowerProtect is doing the job but takes some time to decrypt but I am using it for the most important files.

that's why I'm not doing it like that but with the tool above Risk would be too high for me.
