> Help - T68i Screen Saver not activating????

On my T68i, when I connect it to a cigarette lighter adapter, the animated screen saver (bouncing SE logo) never comes on. Is this normal??? When on battery, it does come on for a few moments before the clock comes on, so I know it is 'activated.' When charging the phone, the screen never blacks out, so it seems like the animated screen saver SHOULD come on, but it doesn't on mine! What's up??

When charging, the screensaver is inactive cause the screen is not completely inactive (there is motion from the small "battery" on the screen showing that the phone is charging)
