I need some help, or advice...if somebody out there knows a solution to my problem or have had the same problem and found a way to fix it.

I use Magic Launcher and the hotkey-function on that program...I also have Key Mapper installed, but have disabled it in the settings.
My problem is that the only key not working is the powerbutton. I simply can't turn off my phone anymore, neither in flipclosed mode or with it open. I have assigned a function when I hold the button and that function works. I have also tried to assign another command to the powerbutton and it works, but when I set it to default nothing at all happens...what am I doing wrong, or is it my phone that is really screwed up?

Hope that somebody has some advice to give me on this, it's really irritating not being able to restart the phone or turn it off without removing the battery every time....I know this is not good, so I don't want to do it anymore.

Hi there friend!
Cool to hear from somebody from Iceland!!!
Thanks for trying to help me...well, I am trying right now to uninstall Handy Day 2005, as I didn't use it that much anyway...
I uninstalled Key Mapper as well...and now have only Magic Launcer, PowerDay and Tracker that uses hotkeys...but I have removed all the assignments for keys in all the other programs except for Magic Launcer...I will try some different things and see where I end up.

Have a great day over there!!!!!

The solution I came up to this is to remove all assignments from all applications and let control panel KeyMapper handle everything.
I assigned to the power button (flip open) functions to escape and close application (hold key), but flip closed didn't assign anything.
This way I can turn off my phone, but only in flip closed mode!

Thanks for the advice, I will see how I solve it...
Anyway, I have been thinking of upgrading to the latest firmware, maybe this will restore the phone to its previous state...
Have a nice weekend!
