> Pics from phone to PC via Bluetooth
Bookmark topic
Hi guys! This might sound strange to some of you, but I didn't find a way to transfer pics from my phone to my notebook via my BT card...
The contrary works OK (I send them to the phone from the MyPictures SW), but the "send picture to phone" option isn't highlighted...
Also when the phone is properly paired to the computer and I try to send a pic from the phone's "My Pictures" menu, the "via MMS, via EMAIL and via IR" menus are highlighted, but not via Bluetooth.... How come?
Thamk you for any hints!

What software are you using on the PC to communicate with the phone? The nokia bluetooth suite or an alpha/beta version of the Socket Win98/2K/XP software (official BT Socket PC software no released yet).

My card is a Socket CF bluetooth card and I use a beta version of their software which is a modified version of the digianswer software. This software creates a bluetooth neighborhood (much like network neighborhood icon on PC desktop) which shows up my T68 as a little mobile phone icon. Click this icon opens up a view with a Remote Inbox. If I drag/drop a picture file (gif or jpg) onto the icon, it sends the picture to my phone. If I send a picture from my phone, it appears in the inbox of my PC.
Probably not much help to you if you are using a different BT card.
Sorry.
