Hi,
I have a new t68i, and am on Cigular in LA. Of course no help from Cingular at all. I did all that Deltayoda says in his posting.
I seem to be getting a GPRS connection, but at device.home it just says "phone:" and "pin:". I put these in and get "login failed". I am signed up for Wireles Internet Express and opened an account at MyWireless Window.
They tell me I am in both data bases ... any sugestions?

Well first off (sorry to be a smart ass) the T68i has not been released in the US yet. Only the T68m. The T68i is going to be released in September. Well about the WAP issue your having. I have the same phone and I am with Cinguler in Orange County. They really don’t tell you to much when you sign up for the web feature of your phone. I hade to drag it out of them but this is what you do. First off you need to sign up at the cinguler website here:
http://www.cingular.com/beyond_voice/beyondmww
You need to create a account if you haven’t already. Here is the catch you need to make sure that the password that you use on this sight is the same that the cinguler people used to sign you up with the wire less web when you activated the web feature. They should have asked you for a password. Remember these have to match or it won’t work. Okay now when you go the Cinguler Home on your phone. In device.home when it says "phone:" and "pin:" At "PHONE" enter your phone number of your cell Example: 3105551234. You cant put the 1 before the number there are not enough spaces. At "PIN" enter the password that you set up on the website and with cinguler. If you still get "FAIL" at PIN enter your long in name that you use on the website. After you get past this You well be at the LOG ON here it will ask you to enter your log in ID (the one you use to log on the cinguler website or you pc) than you password (the one that you set up with the web site and the cinguler people. If all goes well you should be logged on and good to go. YOU will NOT ever have to re-enter any of this info again you should just be able to go right on and browse the web with your phone. If you have any more questions ask me I will be checking this post. Good luck

@brindze Everything on that page is case sensitive, make sure it's all correct. And the phone will not work without the profile being called "Cingular", I've tried many variations, it will just say failed.
Also, for some odd reason when you log in to Cingular GPRS, it will ask for your PIN and Password sometimes (This is an error on there side I think), it even does that to me from time to time. Give it another try at another time, restart the phone too (could be the problem? I don’t know).
Also try aluisi’s way.

This is VERY VERY frustrating.
None of this worked. So, I called Cingular to find out if the password munbers were the same. They were, but it turned out that they had not properly signed me up for Wireless Internet Express. So this time they did, and then the lady gave me a new "GPRS" phone number (this in addition to my voice number) which she said to use to sign in on mywirelesswindow. So .... I was back to mywirelesswindow to create a new login, got a new "authorization code" on my cell phone and signed in. Then back to the phone to log-in ....AND ....
"login failed" (with the PIN I have now determined is used everywhere, as well as with my login name, and even (just out of frustration) with the "autorization code".
Running out of patience and energy and fantasizing doing evil things to Cingular.

OK,
Found the answer over on Howardforums. I needed to go into Wap Services>Advanced and clear my caches and passwords ... it now works.
