what would you like the p1000 to have on it? heres my wishlist.
a built in today screen or "desktop" like page
wi-fi
2 megapixel camera
better picture editor
more colours for jotter
firmer power key
battery that charges in 45 minutes, lasts 5 days easily

well there were a lot of these kind of wishlists but heck here's mine anyway:
-battery: i hope it would last the same as now as i really can't see how could it be better...
-screen: it's alreay excellent but a higher resolution wouldn't be bad considering a lot of pda's have 320*480 or vga in newer ppc's
-ram&memory: 64mb ram, 64mb memory
-wi-fi and edge or umts
-no camera
- mini usb port for quick sync
- today screen or a desktop...

well a vga cam doesn't take much space but the pics are crap while 2mp takes a lot of space an i would rather have a slimer phone without a cam, considering i don't use....
anyway they could do two models, one without and on with a cam...
@mixin: you know that's quite impossible (i mean the end of santa bring me a dild* oops p1000)

Doesn't that wishlist already exist in the market already? 2MP cheap cam phones are common place in several markets so it's not a stretch for SE. I bought a Samsung slide phone with a 5MP camera, 262k screen, and expanded memory slot for 100hrs of video recording. I didn't have to wish for it just as the company didn't need a consensus to manufacture one and put it up for sale. But is a high res cam really that necessary if you want a Pxxx series? Business marketed phones usually strip the 'perks' that most consumers crave. Don't be suprised if SE fails to implement some of the more commonly sought features in the P1000 unless it gears its marketing towards a different demographic this time around.
I'm not sure what good a wishlist does on a forum board though. Why do we wish for mediocre features that already exist in some other unit? Might as well exagerate the features a bit I think..

For me, no memory stick slot. Just give me SD or TFlash. Alot cheaper and have higher capacity.
The downside of this ericsson-sony merger is eric has to adapt sony proprietary system, one of them is memory stick.

larger res screen, not necessarily bigger just bigger res.
proper keyboard for typing, should be able to hide it somehow when not in use,
Wi-fi, edge, and umts, call me fussy, but I don't see how the p1000 cannot support 3g.
I also want UIQ3 in it, that's almost a given I think and I want better range in the IR department, I want to be able to change channels on the banks TV's
that's it I guess, oh and one big thing is they shouldn't take away any features that the p910i currently supports.

about P1000
need something really worth to buy not just UIQ 3.0 interface i need hardware because i want trade my P910 with any device only have different look or just screen upgrade :
i need this
5 mega pixel camera
16 x zoom or more
256 internal Memory
screen is ok with me
Radio ..
Realplayer and wma support
and fast processor
or i'll stay with my P910
its our right to order what we want
because we are buying this phones ...
