> Upgraded my K700i firmware - Changing internet homepage.how!
Bookmark topic
Hi,
Just tried my synch cradle out and the phone (K700) upgraded no problem. The software rev is now R2L001 (prgCXC125821_EU_1C).
Everything is fine except my wap doesn't default to the T-Mobile Zones homepage like it used to. It now goes to Sony Ericcson (select phone, select region) page.
The Internet Settings/Internet accounts/advanced/homepage is still set to T-Mobile zones. I have deleted this profile and used the SE configurator to resend the settings but no joy.
My guess is that the firmware update has somehow overridden the homepage. It is not a real problem since upon connecting I can select 'more' and then 'T-Mobile' (or goto bookmark), but is there any way to undo this override?
TIA
Batch

From
http://www.sonyericsson.com/updateservice/K700/frameset.htm using the update service and a synch cradle. (At least I think so!).
Last time I tried the update it told me 'no updates available'. This time it just did it. I did wonder if I went through ther wrong countries support site, so I retried following the links definitely from the SE UK page. It updated again but no difference (same version s/ware, same problem).
