Thats simply because a true story about someone who is disadvantaged and yet overachieves is way above your heads guys.
Now I suspect if they had thrown a few explosions and car crashes in there you would have rated it? still, give yourselves a few more years and you "may" mature enough to appreciate other than muppet fodder.

I actually preferred reading the book way before the movie was released.. I literally did sleep through the movie.

Auto/Biography books usually do a better job in summarizing life stories. I guess seeing the abridged version of the book threw Mr. Crowe's interpretation of the subject did make it a yawner.
