well all new SE phones like P900 P910 - S700 are made from Europe
thats why they are expensive they price it with euro
but for example Nokia all there phones made in china dn malaysia
thats why they r cheap

That's right, in countries with dolarizd economy prices have rise because of dolar to euro rates, making SE phones more expensive than others.

That's more because the company's economy is on euros. not dollars, that qhere the phone is from. My T610 is from malaysia, but the base price setted by SE to distribuitors is in euros.

Its not so fools i have a 6230 nokia made in finland which is better than the best of se garbage. I had many se phones including P800 and k700 they are all junk. Nothing beats a nokia that why they are rated no 1 and i would not change my 6230 for any lousy sony ericsson. This message was posted from a Nokia

Out of interest, if you consider SE to produce 'junk', why are you posting on a SE forum?

I would have thought that it would be more expensive to produce mobile phones, intended for the European market, in Japan, than it would to produce them in the EU itself. At the risk of sounding arrogant, wouldn't SE be better taking advantage of the newly admitted EU nations in Eastern Europe, as wages and costs would be lower there than in France or other Western European countries?

Not if they already have factories set up and running in china or malaysia.

If they'd want to open in Poland for example they'd need to start from scratch again.

And all new EU countries will probably develop union rigths and higher labour costs in the years to come, so why open there befroe you know where it's all going?
