I am a happy owner of a new P910i, which I upgraded from a P900.

I just can't figure so far how one can type on that tiny flip keyboard effectively. My most effective method has far been touch pad. I wanna start using the thumb board, but it appears took clumsy.

I have tried it out with 2 main methods: putting down the smartphone on something solid (table) and typing a) with thumbs (not too comfortable), and b) with index finger and sometimes middle finger which, after longer practicing, so far looks more convincing... I just can't type holding it all up in the air.

I would welcome any suggesting AND experiences.
Thanx!

I put both of my hands on the phone and hold the main unit with my fingers while I type away with my thumbs. I was surprised at how naturally I began typing the moment I picked up the P910

not particularly small actually. I suppose I just have good coordination. The keyboard is small but useable. I don't really use it for long documents or anything, but it can be used for a few words here or there.

-> my positioning:
-Left index finger on the back (near the left rubber thing!)
-both ring fingers support the flip from behind.
-Typing with both thumbs!

Works so well for me, that I even break records I had with my Nokia (five star* - keypad) and T9! I'm writing very long texts on it.
Hope you can follow my explanations !

Supporting back with left index finger, placing right index finger to hold the back of the P910. Type with thumbs. Its pretty good, but the spacebar hitting for me has to be done on the left or right, it seems that the middle of it is not as sensitive.

I agree on the spacebar. That's the most difficult part of typing. Mastering
