yes, but you have to do it manually for each message. when you have written the message click the second tab at the bottom and you will find the option there

Hi guys, pardon me if this has been advised before, but one feature I accidentally found out about P900 is that whenever you send an SMS, and if the network is not available or by any other reasons the message did not go through, the P900 will place the message into the Outbox and after a min or so, when the network is available, it will automatically send it out and by then you'll realised that the message has now been placed into the Sent folder automatically. I just tested it on my P910i, and all I did was to purposely make my phone into Flight Mode, and send a message to my spare phone. Once the "sent fialed" message pops up, I checked and confirmed it's in the Outbox. Then I switch back to Phone mode and leave the P910i alone. 1 min later, my spare phone receives the incoming message, and now I go back to check on my P910i, yes, the message is now in the Sent folder. I am not sure about P800 cos I only noticed this by accident when I got my P900 last year. Thus I guess this may be the reason why SE did not give us the delivery confirmation on a permanent basis, cos everything is automatic after you clicked on the "Send" button, whether or not the message is delivered the first time round, it will automatically re-send it once the network is available

This is really COOL especially during Xmas and New Years even when it's almost impossible to send a message thru the first time round at 12:00 midnite in my country.
Cheers

Not too sue if that can be a reason.
The outbox is used only when the message cannot be sent at the phone end.
The delivery report however, I guess, is for success at the provider end.
So, in cases where the message is sent from phone but not yet delivered by the provider (case of delayed delivery during congestion), delivery report is the only way to find out when it gets delivered. In any case, if the provider ultimately fails to deliver, it send a failure message. Hence, delivery report is mainly meant to know the time of delivery.
Well, thats what I think
