i've new to uiq, as i was a die -hard nokia s60 fan.. but nokia has gotten SOooo boring as of late, felt i should join the dark side and get me a p910. oh hi btw

intro done

i've downloaded and installed edoom 1.4 and have copied over the fullgame wad (doom.wad) to my internal mem /documents/doom as instructed...oh i've also tried 1.9 shareware wad too.

unfortunately it just wont wrk for me. it free's up the memory.. the tells me it's 'running doom' but i'm still at the title screen for the program with options of stop and resume, resume doesn't wrk.

if it helps i'm with orange.(hope they haven't tampered too much)
i've looked at firmware updating to see if that helps, but according to the installer after rebooting my phone it tells me i'm running latest versions.
anyone got any ideas?

if i can get this working then i'l be completely happy with my change.. even my old 7650 ran doom well

cheers in advance

hello.

had the same problem too before.

what you can try is to create a /doom directory in the /media files/document/ directory in your fone and put the .wad files there. make sure that the .wad files are named "doom1.wad" and "doom3.wad" (without the quotes).

my problem was, the files weren't named correctly. after i renamed them, my problem was solved.

i play doom3 in my pc, then doom1 in my p800. woohoo! doom 24/7! =)
