> K700i LCD Problem

When i look at anything on my K700i's LCD that is usually white (ie: time clock, operator logo, backround for writing messages etc...) its a bit off white and yellowish. it was really white yesterday and today it was just yellowish in color. i hadn't charged my phone in days and it was about to die and i thought that was the problem so then i charged it up and its at full battery right now but still yellow. when i go into camera mode tho and point it at something really bright white like a piece of paper it can show the bright white so i dont think the LCD is broken. also about 2 weeks ago i spilt sprite on the top where the speaker is and i think some got inside because the next day it was full of ants crawling in and out through the speaker hole. Could that have caused the problem? has anyone noticed their white turning yellow?

well I managed to get some cleaning fluid inside my phone, its lefta small patch on the extreme left corner....Have'nt got rid of that...as far as your problem goes, I think your LCD has leaked get it checked out at the nearest SE center, The service and repair is free under warranty.

pfew i was thinking that i had to get a new lcd. ill just check with my friends and make sure its not my eyes that are going and if it is still yellow ill bring it down to the SE center

@gosheepgo - Looks like that the soda really stained the internal parts, perhaps that LCD as you would have said . . . I guess the ants in no way could have affected the LCD's present condition here . .. Yes, a quick visit to your nearest SE Service Center could just solve the problem. If ever that it will be the - LCD, I think that will quite cost you a fortune mate
