Is it just me or has anyone else noticed that O2 customer services are are asian names!!!!

over the past week or so i have received replies from...

Bijurani Devi
Mutum Tilak Singh
Vinay Singh
Rahul Bihani
Deepak Punia

Perhaps, as many comanies now have, the call centre is in India.
I believe they use India & such countries as it is cheaper labour

Well I've spoken to plenty of English names but I will say that by and large they are hopeless. They took an overpayment from my bank on 5th october and I still havn't got it back after countless (or feels like it) phone calls, just get the usual sorry and it will be refunded back into my bank account within 10 working days. The reason I changed network is because of problems with them in the past.

The o2 call centres are in bury, leeds and preston brook. dont think they're in India I've been to the call centre in Leeds and there were quite a few asian people there but no more than there were caucasian people as far as I could tell.

Does it really matter though?!

Yep i'd agree have written to their customer services and the reply was from someone of indian origin but definitely from the Uk.

it is unfortunate that O2 employ f**kwits but its even worse they are British!

can't blame their ignorance and stupidity on them being foreigners

thanks to o2's ability to c*ck everything up i have spoken to their call centre a lot and i have spoken to a mix of people! the one thing that they all had in common is that they don't kno what they are talking about - don't kno anything bout phones, their own tariffs and heven help anyone who needs to get help for a technical problem!
