Hi everyone,

I am used to keeping my precious P900 in my pant pocket. I have noticed that around the left bottom corner of the keypad, the silver coating has come off in a small area and is showing black color.

I had tried removing the keypad altogether, but started to feel uneasy when I had to press the jog dial in unsual patterns to unlock the phone. Does any one have any solution to patch up the are where the paint seems to have come off?. Any silver paint which can be recommended?. I was wondering if I could get hold of a silver permanent marker pen to do the patching.

You can touch it up but it will probably come off again.

I have gone through 2 keypads with this problem. The only thing that finally kept the finish intact was to get a KRUSSEL leather case with plastic covering over the keypad and screen. Since getting that case I have had no paint related problems for six months.
