The s700 is better than the v800 just for the fact alone that the v800 looks complete poo! Whereas the s700, very sleak, stylish and cool, everything each of us can always dream to be!

Does the V800 has a CCD sensor like the S700?
Did anyone compare the quality of the pictures from both phones?

V800 sure is one ugly device, and the big red vodafone logo makes it look even more gross. sorry if i have offended any V800 owners thats not my intention, but after seeing one for the first time hanging from a shop assistants neck at the local Vodafone shop i was quite shocked to say the least, especially when he flipped it open! the S700 is abit chunky but looks lovely.

i think that a phone that has the most possibilities would win. if being 3g means more possibilities like probably tv, then undoubtly v8 is the way to go. theyre both not smartphones. i hav been using smartphones since 7650 came out and i would not even codnsider getting a phone that is not. s7 may have a chance if it had agile messenger or edge like its american counterpart does

@julioinocencio
EDGE isn't supported in many countries, so it isn't always worth SE's time and resources to include it. The reason that it it's included in the S710 is that the U.S. probably won't have a fully developed 3G network for some time yet unlike Europe and much of the rest of the world.

I'll DEFINITELY go with the SE S700 here, as that is my DREAM fone (aside from the Nokia 9500 Communicator) for now !
