Apologies if this is posted elsewhere, but I can't find it.

I've just bought a k500, mainly so I can connect to the internet and check on a mainly text based online game (which doesn't have a wap site) while I'm away from home - please try not to mock too much

.

Stupidly, I haven't done much research and bought the perceived best for my budget which wasn't too high obviously.

After a previous post, I'm now aware that internet browsing is possible with reqviewer, which I am willing to buy if it works.

Onto the question:

Is there any simpler way, however ugly until I get the hang of what I'm doing with this phone to enter an http address?

I'm with orange payg right now and after reading the manuals it appears that their idea of the internet is Orange World which appears to be a linear beast with preset menus, or is it more flexible ?

Any pointers would be greatly appreciated.

almost all phones can't diaplay html sites. The ones who can, will do that in a very primitive way, usually you get errors like, your browser does not support frames etc. And the screen is just too small for displaying sites. Only at 320x240 it will get a bit better. So only smart phones can handle html on the primitive side or PDA's who can do it better. in combination with a bluetooth connection with your phone.

I'm really not bothered about how good it looks to be fair or how easy as long as I can use it.

This frames thing may be a problem tho. I seem to remember reqviewer didn't handle frames and until someone mentions another way, I'm assuming that is the only way I can use the internet.

Edit: Think reqviewer handles frames.

The site u want to view may not use frames anyway.
Try the software first before buying, I'm sure they will do a trial/demo (There is definately a trial for Webviewer)
