I just bought used T39m 3days ago... and i got T28 Service cable(Serial).
I success converting the T28 service cable into data cable(Pin 6 to 4 , Pin 7 to 5, no pin 9) ...
PC able to recognize my phone when i used Hyper terminal, I already managed sending new background logo to my T39m, and Dial Up netwok able to recognized my T39m modem as well
Everything when fine... except each time i trying to dial up to internet through my PC -> T39m
It will connect & Verify user name & password... then disconnect it..
I can see my T39m screen showing connecting while dialing... then it just auto disconnect
This is where the problem start...
- i open hyperterminal again
and i set the baud rate speed to 115200... and save it with this command AT&W=0
the phone reply : OK
- then when i trying to dail again... my phone restart...
And now my pc cannot detect it anymore, Hyperterminal get no response as well, My pictures ... same , Dial up netwrk.. same
I Had try connecting with all baud rate from 1200 to 115200 .... no go
. Master reset... done... no go
Can anybody help me reset the setting with the hyper terminal?
Is there anyway i can clear the phone cmos?

Ya... i'm thinking of flashing to new firmware as well... as it will reset all setting back to factory
I got R4A008 fw & service cable on my rig....
all i need now only Flashing software... i'm still looking for this tools

The 1st thing I would try is a master reset. You'll lose your phone book and stuff, as you probably already know. Oops.. you already did that.
On your hyper-terminal, try setting the baud rate to slower speed, try all of them, and see if you can get a connection after each trial. use ATI command to see if you get response.
As for remote computer not allowing access, most ISP restrict ISDN access at slow speeds such as what you'll get with your T39.

@tictac bit off topic, but get a bhc10 high cap batt and u ll surf 3 times longer on gprs. And try this in standby mode *#05# ps: the hiden snake game is at erix when the title pops up, push 1 2 3 or 7 8 9
