i have a branded O2 s700i but i have my orange sim in it...is there anyway to get the o2 internet ling off the menu to link to orange instead...can i change the address it goes to?

No. And if it was unbranded it would permanently go to Sony Ericsson.
You can however set a homepage of your choice which will load automatically when you press the internet button
