> Resizing of pictures inside the P900

Hi,
I would like to know if there is a way for me to resize pictures I've taken with my P900 phone but INSIDE the phone itself. Most of the pictures I take use about 90K of memory and I would like to be able to resize them to smaller before emailing them out etc to save on GPRS transmission costs. I don't want to first send them to a PC. I want to be able to do this on the spot, within my phone. IS there a way with the P900's applications or is there an external software that I can install on the P900 to do this?

is there a particular reason you dont want to take small photos initially instead?
i dont think the p900 can resize pics directly from the phone since i'm pretty sure the p910 doesn't have that feature.

There is some 3rd party software that does it, i had it installed on my P800 before, but don't remember it's name...

Well I know I can take small photos but I wanted to be able to have the big size for later use but also resize it for instant transmission. I guess I could always take 2 pictures each time, one large and one small!

I can't help you with the app you're looking for, except to say that I'd be suprised if there was nothing that does the job.

i think u ppl didnt explore ur p900... their is an option of resizing pics and even cropping them.. WHEN u see the thumbnails of all pics.. click on the pic u wanna resize and then click on the EIDT then EDIT picture option.. and their READ THE HELP file cuz i cant Expalin to u the type of icon it displays.. but reading the help file will make the option clear to u..

Ok, I found the on-board app to resize as suggested. Thanks a lot. I had gone into that but had not figured that the little pencil icon would give me other choices below it to resize. I assumed the pencil was only to draw.

Use Photo editor, personal paint, photopro. photo enhancer what ever. Or just set up the camera to take smaller pic, tho as said above you can resize on the phone. If you need em small for mms when u create a messege the phone will ask if you want to resize the image
