If the problem is due to an a program installed on the stick running in the background, then start up the phone without the stick, then insert the stick and format it. Ought to do the trick.

Go into Sman and under Fn chose quit, that closes Sman and now you can uninstall it.

i have the same problem with sman and quitting sman then uninstalling it will not work still...
