Although my t39m functioned horribly after the r4a firmware was put by the sony ericsson service, I had long fights with them, and the last time I sent it I wrote a 5 page letter to them. To my surprise, FedEx brought me a brand new shiny t39m. It's made in 2002 and it says Sony Ericsson inside.
Too bad I own a t68i now. I'm gonna keep it as a gift for someone, just in case.

admitted they got problems with R4A and GPRS. The replacement I got didn't have the latest firmware, it's R3B006
