Gmail are rolling out POP3 access for all users.
The info on connecting includes...
Quote:Incoming Mail (POP3) Server – requires SSL: xxxx.gmail.com
Use SSL: Yes
Port: 995
Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server – requires TLS: xxxx.gmail.com (use authentication)
Use Authentication: Yes
Use STARTTLS: Yes (some clients call this SSL)
Port: 465 or 587
... is SSL and TLS supported on the P800? I can't get this to work correctly, and the POP server just times out. Seems I'm not the only one, too...

Right, I seem to remember that the rules are along the lines of "do a search first, then ask questions"... oh well...
anyways - you might want to have a look at this thread for further enlightment with regards to your question.

My opinion on this is that if it doesn't work on P910, you've got pretty much no chance in hell to get it running on P900, and even much less on P800.
