you can save each message as a template.
click More -> Save Message -> Templates
luckily, we can create hundreds of templates. there's no limitation. i've tried it.

Dear Sir or Madam,
Thank you for contacting the Sony Ericsson Call Center.
The memory on your phone is split up into different sections, and most of the memeory is dedicated to your media player and camera pictures. The sms section unfortunately does not have a large share of the memory.
Best Regards,

Well the best to save more SMS in your phone is to upgrade your SIM Card to next higher level. For example:
In India we generally get a 16 K SIM card with a Pre-Paid connection, This stores 150 Phone numbers and 20 SMS, You can upgrade to 32 K SIM Card which will store 250 Phone Numbers and 50 SMS.
You should contact your operator and ask to be upgraded to a higher SIM, namely ones available are in 16 K , 32 K , 64 K , 128 K...
Regards

That se email reflects a sad fact, that the standard features arent importmant for se. Hope the coming models will fix the 510 contact and sms joke, it shouldnt be a problem in 2005.
