Hi,

Surely, this is probably the wrong forum to post it in, but it really depends on the profile of the post. Basically, what I'd like to know is if any of you have tried out the new Motorola A1000.

Here's a link:

What this cellphone offers seems to be everything that the P900 does, plus some highly useful extra features. First and foremost, the A1000 is 3G capable, i.e. it's got UMTS technology built-in which means that I can hook up my laptop computer via bluetooth and wirelessly surf the web with a speed of approximately 512kbps. Quite impressive.

Also, it sports a 1,2 MP camera and runs the familiar UIQ interface.

I'm in a rush right now, but I just wanted to gather some opinions on this phone. My P900 is about to collapse, and I am not sure if I'm going to go for the underpowered P910i or a new phone with 3G support (I would love the bandwidth!).

Any input appreciated!

Thanks.

P.S. It's snowing here. Time to think happy happy thoughts in order to survive the winter. Or hibernate.
