you need to flash your phone with generic firmware ie. the sony ericsson standard firmware. do a search and there are few relevant topics about this. i recently got mine done by carphonewarehouse for free!

Yes the CPW will do it, but some are now charging £30 for the job as it is a customer modification request not a fault. If not, you could send your phone to Above Connection in London, they are superb, do a search for their website and look them up. Or if you can find someone close to you with a SE Fighter tool and software, they could flash upgrade it for you. The best of luck mate.

no it doesnt.as long as you dont cancel b4 your contract expires, however thats nothing to do with the unlocking etc.
