hi
i'm trying to connect my p910 to my linux pc using vnc (remote p800 doesn't work on linux- works fine however with windows)
using vnc, i get the ip, the screen, and the password i must use with my vnc viewer in order to connect remotely to my computer.
so i go to the vnc for p800 application which i installed to my p910, enter all the details, and create the appropriate settings to make the connection.
having connected the p910 to my compyter via bluetooth (i can send files to p910 as well as receive), i try to initialize the vnc viewer.
however, i keep getting that popup prompting me to choose a gprs connection to use.
is there any way i can make it use the bluetooth connection instead of trying to use gprs?
thanks in advance

I have tried with BT as well and it will not work.
Perfect with GPRS (if expensive)

i guess paying a bunch of money just so that you don't have to go to the next room and do what you want to your pc,isn't quite worth it...

BT works fine for me with VNC viewer. Just using the XP SP2 standard drivers too.
I had to go into the tcpip settings of the bluetooth network area and give it an ip address rather than having one dynamically assigned whether or not thats something to do with it?
