> modifying tracker 4 skins

firstly, i have to say that i love the tracker 4 app. so much prettier and more functional than the standard desktop view.
secondly, i've found the need to modify some of the skins that i've downloaded. Some of them lack appropriate buttons but have a nice layout or vice versa.
so anyways, my probelm with all the skin editors i have come across is that they can only open the source file of the skin; cant open the .ztr file. so is there an editor than can open the .ztr file or perhaps there might a file that can extract the source file of the ztr so i can use that.

i like the layout but i'd like to change the buttons target programs, especially since some of them are dead links.

I suppose they are 'compiled' in any way to be fixed as .ztr, therefore I donīt expect any possibility to extract single files from a .ztr (like, say, have you ever tried to modify macromedia flash animations off of websites for example?).

I don't think you can. The skins are compiled and there is no program that would uncompile them for you, therefore you cannot change them.
