I've come to the conclusion that my current handset (k700) doesn't satisfy my current needs. I've owned a SE ever since the T68i (T610, T630 and now K700). What i'm looking for is a handset that has the following:

1# A HTML browser (+ the ability to download attachments)
2# Removable flash memory (doesn't have to be hot swappable but would prefer it).
3# BT, IR, GPRS.
4# A largish display
5# Stereo Audio
6# A decent battery life.

I've wittled it down to 4 handsets: SE P910 (or P900 with P910 fw), The Motorola MPX, The Motorola MPX100 (has it been cancelled?), O2 Xphone II/ i-mate SP3i (which looks very much like the former)

My contract doesn't run out till may next year BUT, I can still upgrade or buy sim-free if needs be.
Or I could wait a few months and see what 2005 brings smartphone wise.

What do you think?

I'd probably consider the p910.not really sure about the moto phones,but if they still have "itap"text input,it would be a no-no for me,as i'm a heavy sms customer.the p900 is ok,but the screen and camera quality are not supreme mate. This message was posted from a T68i

I believe a P910 would suit your needs.
I've got it and I'm happy as anything. It's got all I need and more to it.

I'd say the P910. It's an excellent phone.

@soulframe

If you don't need an upgrade urgently then I would suggest that you wait a few months, at least until the next quarter. There may very well be something announced then and since we are rather close to the first quarter of 2005 it seems silly not to wait if you don't need a smartphone right away.
