I wanna confirm a question about Li-ion batteries (espicificaly T610 one): Do I damage the battery when charging even if it has power left? I ask this because I tought I had read somewhere that I could charge the phone whenever, and so did I. But now (8 months using), the phone lose power very fast (3 or 4 days).
Have any idea how many complete charges are there until your battery life get bad?

T610 has li pol, not li ion. Li pol are very sensitive ones, i suggest to charge it 6 days in on mode til full and on the 7th all night long in off mode. A batt reaches best performance between te 2nd week and 2 month, if it a new one. Never drain fully the batt. Its not good to disconnect charging if batt isnt full.

Also most of us get about 3-4 days out off our batterys if were lucky, i usually get about 2-3 days.

According to specs and hearsay,lithium cells have no "memory effect",as opposed to ni-cad/nimh cells which do.i believe they start becoming inefficient at approx 1000 charge/discharge cycles.

I read somewhere it's 300-500 cycles. Awful! My battery lasts 1.5-2 days and it never held more than that (now it's about 4mnths old). How come it's so short-life?

My bus11 li pol works fine since 3-3.5 half year. Fw upgrade, even usually with the last one, do support a good performance next to the charging method.

Ok, thanks all for showing your experiences and knowledges. Bobafett, I`ll read more about this issue at that forum. I think the problem with T610 is its display. When I had a T300, there was an option to let diplay light turnned off. I thing such a feature would be interesting (specially if they had created an scale of bright, like sound control) in phones with larger displays and the new features that spend each time more and more energy. Nowadays there are great phones with great technologys too, but will this baterries aford that? When I bought my T610, I considered a lot of itens but never worried about battery life time. Next phone I'll think stronger about that.

@arthur u can turn off the light in t610 aswell, bv the best solution would be a stronger li ion batt, those are more stable and have longer life in average.
