> useless se adverts

this may sound like a stupid thing to say but to my (wierd) way of thinking se could easily include 2 or 3 models in thier adverts.
eg:
here is the t630 it has......
dont like it? here is the clamshell version the z600.
or
here is the k700 it does....
dont like the design? why not try the s700 its the same as k700 apart from.....
i think this would work especially well on magazine adverts, it gives the reader a choice of phones to think about, saves advertising space (more $$$) in the bank and the adverts would tell you something.
in this weeks zoo magazine in the uk they ran an ad for the k500.
the whole ad consisted of 2 k500s laid on thier sides next to each other both facing front.
the words "sleep tomorrow"
and under that " 3d games mp3 video player digital pictures"
then 4 lines about a sleep tommorow competition.
wtf?! the advert should be about the k500 not a competition!!
looking at the ad i realised i dont even know what the difference is between a k5 and k7!
please se hire a new advertising agency these people are lazy!
has anyone seen an ad for se that told you anything useful about the phone it?
k700 ad tagline "phone meets camera" HOW??? tell me whats so good about the camera!!
make me go "oooh!"

I prefer one fone in an adv. If anybody will be catched by the brand cos of a fone adv, thats the best way. T610 adv was a very tasteful one, nice story and music.

The T610 inc. The T630 in its add can't see why the K700 shouldn't inc. the K500 in the commerical neither less money for them then :-)

could you do a better job?
i know what it is like trying to run a business, making all the finances work smoothly, the design, the work that is involved.
there is nothing wrong with the adverts. have you seent he nokia and siemens? they are crap. the t610 one was mint, the k700i was great, and the s7 was not so, but it was short and memorable.

@vanquish fact is, that according my talks with operators and fone shops, they dont sell many se fones next to other brands and se isnt the co yet, what it could or should be. I am not satisfied with the result til now, the adv is poor as i see.

adverts suck. the t610 one was brilliant, and the k700 is very cool.
and at the topic starter, what is wrong with phone meets camera? its a brilliant camera, and i myself have compared quality with the nokia 6600, 6230, all the se range, the siemens range

i am a student but am a web designer and have previously employed 2 other freelance designers to work with me. it is stressful.
my grandad owned a huge architect firm and he was never in the house. my grandads best friend owned a sofa company and work got the better of him and he went bust.
i think
do very well.
i also am an a* graphic design student which proves i do a lot of advertising. the k700i advert was very stylish, clever, the soundtrack was cool and the overall theme was fine. it was meant to be minimalist. i think though this is only good for the k7. the s7 had the same style and i dont think it suited it. the s7 needed a radically different style, possibly something that did have the wow factor,
so overall, @nature some of your points are valid, but dont dis the adverts that did work, and try and be positive. not just 'all se ads are crap'
because i didnt say all se pricing was crap, i said that i wouldnt be willing to pay 500pounds on something that wasnt worth it!
