If I have some text on my computer (lets say an URL or an adress), is there any really easy way of sending it to my P910?

Firstly, did you do a search of this forum before posting your question.

Secondly, RTFM!!!!

Finally, yeah, just send it to your phone via Infrared, Bluetooth or use a direct cable link using the supplied PC Suite software

I don't want to synchronise the whole phone each time etc...I just want to transfer an URL etc to the phone...is there any really EASY way of doing this?

Yes, it is easy. Connect the phone to your PC via infrared. I guess bluetooth should also work. You do not need to sync the phone (you do not even need the SE PC suite installed). Assuming your link is in a folder or on the desktop, right click it and select 'Send to' then 'A nearby computer'. The phone will then show a message received which you can add to your bookmarks.

Ah! Thanks.
But then I have to save the text to a file, but that's pretty easily done. You'd think there would be a program in which just just paste some text and press send it turns up in your phone!

Very true, the question was fair. I would advise you use Remote p900, by the way. Whenever i am with the computer, i always have the phone in the charger, and send all sms'es etc using Remote p900. Perfect for cutting and pasting, it has a "copy clipboard to p900" function.

You will notice many here are very helpful, there are a few who like to get down on new people. If you know the answer than answer the questions, if not don't post anything.

I choose to see it from both sides. If there is a new poster with a question, that is fair enough, and I believe help should be provided to genuine queries. However, there are some people (not necessarily the poster in this thread) who ask questions, to which answers are easily available through google, the manual or esato. And it can be frustrating that some posts seem to be the result of sheer laziness:)
P.S. Sorry for going off topic

london-uk, I agree with you about most of the stuff. However if I feel the person asking the questions is lazy, I just don't reply to his/her post at all. In the time it takes for me to type "use search or google or you're a lazy bum" I can type in the answer (if I know it) to their questions, but that's just me.
