You need to set up a bluetooth serial connection.

Welp.....

Plug in your Bluetooth Adapter and start up System Preferences. You'll notice a new item in the "Hardware" section of the System Preferences pane called "Bluetooth". Click on that and launch the setup assistant.

At some point, as you're setting up your phone, you will have the option to set up a "USB Bluetooth Modem Adaptor". Check the box or click on the radio button and complete the wizard.

As far as I know this will set up your iMac to use your mobile phone as a modem. I'm not sure if it will work the other way round- i.e. allowing your mobile phone to use your computer's modem/broadband connection..... give it a go and tell us how it went man.

Cheers
