Hi,

I have the following problem,
i went on vacantion and lent my p800 to my dad for a week,
when I returned, he told that the battery didn't last long.
Since then everytime i called the battery warning popped up and the phone would usually give the 10 seconds error or shutdown entirely (even when power was 80%).
I have reformatted the phone several times, bought a new battery, and in the beginning it did do that anymore, but now it's back.

I reguarly let the battery run totally empty and power it overnight, so I don't have any ideas anymore...

Does anybody know something?

Thanks,

svenM

Welcome here. U shouldnt drain the battery always, it do effect the performance bad. U should maybe make a fw upgrade. Have u been to se service? This message was posted from a T68i

Hi,

thank you bobafett, no not always, just about once a month I let the battery run empty.

It hasn't been to a service centre,
mostly because they are rather far from here and I don't have a spare cell phone.

One month after I´d bought my phone (P800 too) it decided to show me recharging progress - but it didn´t charge anyway. Brought it to service centre once, got it back, sayd 'evertything´s ok', but of course it wasn´t, same fault again. So back to the centre, a little bit yelling around, and two weeks later bug was fixed - to be honest, it was a completely new phone and they mumbled something about 'defect chip'. Don´t know if it´s similar to your problem, but it was the same appearance - seemed to be recharged, and after using a few minutes battery warning popped up and so on..
