Hi all,

A few months back I decided to get the lovely new Ericsson T68. When looking of a network I had heard good things about Orange and their service so I decided to go with them. However...

I now discover that, as with all most networks, their GPRS gateways has a 1.5Kb file size limit so its pretty useless, they don't support MMS and I can't get the new T68i upgrade because I will invalidate my warranty if I do!

Come on Orange, get your act together. the future could be turning blue, red or even pink!

PS. Does anyone have any information on when Orange will support MMS? Cheers.

I had a similar problem getting the upgrade done on Orange.
I first rang SE and they gave me details of a place to get it done. I phoned them up and they said we don't do Orange.
OK I thought. I'll phone Orange. They called me back and said your local CPW will do it. We just rang them and they said it's OK.
So I rang them to check and they said "Yeah! bring it in. Takes about an hour, bla bla bla..."
So I went in and they turned me away. We don't do Orange they said. I told them that Orange called them and they said they did. "Well now were saying we don't."
So... I phone Orange again and they said that they do not support the S/W upgrade so I couldn't have it done.
Muppets!
So I went to my local cowboy phone shop and they sent it to an SE service centre and I had it done. And now it's great.
Sod Orange. If it goes wrong I'll drop it in the bath and get a new one.
My advice is get it done and enjoy yourselves and when your contract runs out leave Orange. That's what I'm going to do.

The future's shite with Orange!
