nothing like that on mine. apart from a couple of small scratches around the camera trim, everythings still fine on my 2 month old P700.

Only a few little spots on sharp edges. And of course small scratches around the camera trim. Further everythings still fine on my 4 months old S700i. The screen itself is remarcable resistant against scratches.

It's all a question of care. Your cars paint will start coming off too if u keep bumping into things!

I'm very careful with my phones and the paint has been coming off around the infrared port and key lock slider since day one.

Try using a clear film of laquor(sp) for model planes and such. Put a very small and then coat on and it will protect from abuse.

My phone is still in good physical condition. No scratches yet (i hope!) and I use a phone sock to keep it whenever I dun use it to sms or call someone. At the same time, a screen protector is used!

I have the exact same problem, plus scratches on the aluminium circle of the camera. And mine doesn't say where it's made from.
