hey guys, just wondering if i can improve my writing efficiency by asking for some tips... currently i have problems writing the letters 'e' (often mistaken to be 'l' by the phone) 'c' (also 'l') 's' (becomes 'j') and i (becomes 'll)'.. it irritates me like hell when i have to backspace and type all over again.. do you guys have the same problem? or is it all smooth sailing for you? if so, any tips?

i know- but i still make a lot of mistakes when writing fast... is the handwriting recognition meant to be used fast? if it isn't then i guess its not anyone's fault then.. i'll have to try to master that miniscule keyboard, then

I don´t think recognition is speed-related. I´m using my index finger (and thumb to stabilize) therefore I can write really fast (I suppose most problems occur if writing fast and the stylus doesn´t manage to keep contact with the screen properly, therefore the recognition recognizes a 'hole' as new characters beginning).

Fingers are more sensitive (and save annoying clip-on-clip-off of the stylus..).

feel the force u must

whot: If you need a bigger on-screen keyboard, try pop-on-top.

Yes, PopOnTop keyboard. Here's the link:

I think it's a great idea but needs some more developing (eg. PopOnTop replaces primary input - handwriting - instead of secondary input - normal keyboard. Also editing already-typed text is tricky.)

Still, it might suit you.

thanks, but i figured it took me more time to use the keyboard...might as well write slower and more carefully on the handwriting recog. oh well, i guess there's no ideal..

thanks, anyway..cheers!

I had problems at the beginning but now I find if you get the speed consistent then it gets all the right letters like i and x. I changed the way I wrote t and 4 to match the way it likes them written and it seems to work for me now. Other letters that give problems are usually sloppy handwritting where the lines don't connect when they should. Also try changing the angle that you write at to see if it improves
