Just got my new P910 and tried it with my BMW bluetooth car kit.
Yes! It works (P900 + P800 didn't work). The P910 shows the car kit as a headset.
It does however NOT transfer the phone book to the car. Maybe there is a setting that I'm missing? Anybody else using this setup?

ok, to answer my own question, looks like I have to manually transfer the phone book according to http://www.x5world.net/bluetooth_compatible_phones.htm

I can manually transfer the address book, but then it gets wiped out again the next time I start the car. Have you been seeing this also?

yes, it does NOT work OK, I contacted SE already about this and they said maybe it will get fixed in a later firmware.

P910 phonebook & sms do not get transferred

SMS will now always say NO MESSAGES. Read on...

Phonebook gets erased due to an error in the sync protocol, the phone tries to sync with the BMW at ignition, but since the BMW asks the phone "Hey, are there any changes?", the P910 says nothing (it doesn't REtransfer its phonebook to a handsfree set, like others do), so the BMW thinks the phonebook was wiped on the phoneside, thus it will sync with the phone, causing all contacts to go away. This renders the handsfree useless IMHO, you can't call anyone from the car unless you enter the number manually with the jog dials in the BMW, too stupid...

And also often the car rings, you pick up in the car, but you hear nothing and the other side neither, and you need to restransfer over the phone menu the call to the phone or you lose the call. Another bug. And calling with the P910 and select "transfer to handsfree" doesn't work either, will results in total silence.

It works better, but it is still FAR AWAY from what a simple obsolete T68 can do.

I really think of changing to another brand next time, I think SE really f**ks up with this, they can't implement a BOG STANDARD BT handsfree protocol on their flagship phones.
Remember it ain't just BMW, Volvo, Saab, Chrysler, Lexus and Toyota all have the same problems! But with severe laws now forbidding calling & driving, this issue has just become more important to me.
