> a bluetooth question

I see that bluetooth devices and phones are going into the class 1 (100m range), but now if we had a class 1 in location A and class 2 in location B, and the distance is 80 meters can they connect of not? do they both have to be 100 M!~?

Bluetooth range is limited to the device with the lower range capability.

no, because the devices have to "handshake". This means that they communicate with each other to confrm available protocols (profiles) and confirm success of each transmission etc etc
we've been through this all a few times recently.
here was the last one a couple of weeks ago for example
