Hi,

My father just came from taiwan and got me a P910i, the problem is that when i do a master reset the default language is Chinese and when i set it to english and use the pen to write something i get chinese signs. after calleing diffrent shops i found 2 that can change the symbian to the europian standard but they ask about 100 euro. My question is there any way i can do that my self?

Welcome here! Let it do by experts, it the best solution. Its an expensive fone, even on simple handsets a flash or upgrade could go wrong. The money is worth and guess u get warranty aswell. This message was posted from a T68i

For you to do it yourself, it will cost just as much if not more buying all the right stuff. Plus you gotta know how to do it too.

thanks for the reply, no SE helpdesk dont even know what i'm talking about, and i do have a DSS witch i think can flash the symbian. i need to know what software tool is used and where to get the european os.

i only dont feel comfortable sending my P910 by mail to flash the phone and there arnt much places where they offer that service.

so tomorrow will take the phone book and call evry mobile shop here is that might give me the answers.

Don't think you can do it with DSS 25, need something like SE Fighter.
