Cheapest is not always best
Orange are cheapest = modified firmware = hassle
T-Mobile = almost as cheap = crap coverage + modified firmware = hassle
Vodafone = quite expensive + modified firmware = hassle
O2 seem to be the best of the bunch for the P910 as they are not modded like the others. Why don't you ask them? it depends on your spend level etc.....
I rest my case !!

Okay, now listen carefully & I will explain how to get an unbranded P910 for £25.
Go to fones4free.com and order £27 monthly contract on Orange.
Get phone and go to Orange Repair Centre in Oxford St and pay £8 to flash with generic firmware.
After 6 months you can change to a different tariff.
Please note that although the contract is for 24 months you can still upgrade after 12.
I have been very happy with Orange for three years. Good reception and Customer care.
NB To benefit from this method if you are already on Orange but want to keep you number is to disconnect and request your PAC code. Purchase a TMobile payG card(£3 from netelectrics.co.uk) and port your number onto it. When the port is complete do the same again to port it to your new Orange contract.

I'm looking to change onto O2, especially as their tariffs now seem to be the best around. But they dont appear to sell the P910i, just the K700i and S700i

scottyd: If you find a good deal somewhere - on any network - then call O2, and (after waiting in a big queue for a while!), request a PAC code to change networks. They will then ask you what deal you're planning on moving on to and will try to match it. That's how I got my P900 much cheaper than the upgrade price of £300-odd that they quoted me a few days earlier. (In fact I told a little fib and got the phone for a tenner less than the Vodaphone deal I'd found!.... Shhhh!)
Also, they matched the monthly tarriff by leaving me on my existing tarriff, and adding a "bolt-on" that gives you a bunch of extra text messages per month. I only waited for one month before calling back and saying "I've got this bolt-on that I'm not actually using. Can I cancel it?". Hey presto, back to the original cost.

Hey Guys, I have decided to opt for a P910i on Orange now that my contract is up.
Has anyone got a new P910 on contract anywhere recently either online or with an operator. I am aiming to get one for about £50.
When I ask them for my PAK Code I wan't to be able to hit them with a megadeal I have found somewhere else.
At the moment I am spending about £55 - £80 monthly.
Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.
