According to Mobile-review's russian version news,
Production of K300 (a new T630) will start in 1st quarter of 2005 by Arima and J200 production is starting now. They refer to Taiwan's DigiTimes. Does anyone know more about it?

By the way, itself Arima Communication also will not sleep and it plans to use its own brand, true, in essence on the local Taiwan market. Thus, in the first half-year 2005 company are intended to present under its own trade mark the first EDGE telephone and to supply it into the channels of local distribution. Only later under brand Arima Communication will be represented the first 3G telephone. »

Interesting, but I doubt it is a replacement/update of the T630 or ???
We already have the K500 which is almost as good as the T630, but has no bluetooth (hence lower number).
So a K300 I would guess is like a K500 but with no camera (hence lower number).
Or else it is a K600 which is like K500 but with bluetooth (i.e. improvement over T630, mainly by having a VGA camera).
As this Taiwanese company are now making phone(s) without a camera in them (J200) and explcitly mentioned K300, I am guessing it is a K500 similar phone, with no camera in it (i.e. new "low end" phone, not T630 replacement from SE point of view).
Just my guess, I have no extra info. either.

Thn why not just build a t610 without bluetooth, and save a lot on R&D? Im sure theres more to it than that.
