I brought my Sync station today and tried updating my phone ( On Orange ) using the update service on Sony Ericssons website to then find a error saying .... " Your operator does not approve the usage of this service for this device."

Well, looking around the forums apparently Orange IS supposed to support this service. I've spent around 6 hours trying to solve it, Also E-mailed SE, If someone could help me I'd be more thn greatful. Either leave a messager here or contact me Via MSN messanger or Hotmail.

I'd give up mate and send it off for updating.

You could debrand it but then you would lose your warranty.

Apparently the site used to work for Orange users up until it went down for a week and ever since then it has not been letting Orange users update there software.

I know because I was in exactly the same situation as ou about 3-4 weeks ago!
